A Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Serviços Públicos e Obras (Serpo), deu início, nesta terça-feira (12), à implantação do Centro Comunitário Esportivo, na Rua Tentente José Ribeiro da Silva com a Rua Octávio Bazzo, no Jardim Amália, Zona Leste da cidade.
O objetivo do novo espaço público é proporcionar lazer e oportunidades de convívio, além da prática esportiva, garantindo ainda mais qualidade de vida aos moradores da região. Os trabalhos serão executados pela empresa W2 Engenharia e Consultoria Ltda., com recursos de emenda estadual encaminhada ao município, no valor de R$ 338.162,00.
A implantação do novo equipamento contempla campo de futebol com fechamento em alambrado, academia ao ar livre, playground, calçamento, bancos de concreto, além de iluminação com tecnologia em LED. O prazo de entrega da obra é de 120 dias.
O início das obras contou com a presença de diversos moradores do entorno, como de Priscila Belino, que conferiu de perto acompanhada do filho Abram, de 8 anos. “Esse é um pedido de anos e gostaria que meu pai pudesse ver esse sonho se concretizando. Estamos felizes que finalmente teremos uma área de lazer aqui”, disse a munícipe.
