Faltam menos de cinco meses para o início dos Jogos Olímpicos de Paris e o clima de esporte e competição já começa a invadir o nosso cotidiano. O estado de São Paulo ainda não foi sede das Olimpíadas e fica geograficamente distante de Paris, mas a Secretaria de Esportes do Estado de São Paulo oferece modalidades gratuitas de esportes que também serão disputados nos Jogos.
Veja abaixo seis modalidades que estarão em disputa nos Jogos e que podem ser praticadas, como recreação ou em nível competitivo, de forma gratuita nos equipamentos administrados pela Secretaria de Esportes do Estado de São Paulo.
Vila Olímpica Mário Covas (boxe e tênis de mesa)
Endereço: Rodovia Raposo Tavares – Km 19,5 – Butantã

A Vila Olímpica Mário Covas tem um salão de 780 m² dedicado exclusivamente ao boxe. O local possui um ringue e sacos de pancadas. As aulas são ministradas pelo Instituto Adilson Maguila às terças e quintas, em quatro períodos (9h-10h, 10h-11h, 14h-15h e 15h-16h).
Para se matricular é bem simples: basta comparecer ao local às quintas, das 10h às 16h, e os interessados devem levar documento com foto, atestado médico – para o caso de estudantes, declaração escolar.
Além do boxe, a Vila Olímpica oferece também 12 mesas para a prática de tênis de mesa. O empréstimo de acessórios como bola e raquetes é feito mediante apresentação de documento com foto na recepção.

Um dos principais complexos esportivos do Brasil também tem um cardápio interessante de modalidades. As aulas de natação do Conjunto Desportivo Constâncio Vaz Guimarães acontecem nas seis piscinas do Complexo Aquático Caio Pompeu de Toledo e as de vôlei, nas duas quadras poliesportivas abertas.
Para efetuar a matrícula, é necessário apresentar documento com foto e comprovante de residência na sala da diretoria do conjunto. Maiores de 60 anos devem apresentar obrigatoriamente o atestado médico, e menores de 18, um termo de responsabilidade assinado por pais ou responsável.

No atletismo, a seletiva segue os mesmos moldes, com peneiras anuais e recrutamento via análise de currículo, enviados para o e-mail gabinete.esportes@saobernardo.sp.gov.br com dados pessoais e currículo esportivo.
A pista de atletismo fica aberta ao público de segunda a quarta, das 6h às 8h, e às terças, das 18h às 20h. Não é necessário preenchimento de ficha ou apresentação de documento para a sua utilização.
