Neste sábado (6/4), fechando a série de compromissos em 12 cidades iniciada na quinta-feira, o governador Romeu Zema vistoriou a Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) de São Roque de Minas, na Serra da Canastra, que ficou 12 anos com obras paralisadas em governos anteriores.
Os trabalhos foram retomados e concluídos na atual gestão, e a unidade, em atividade desde 2022, oferece serviços básicos de saúde aos mais de 7 mil moradores da região, incluindo duas equipes da Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF).
“É um prazer enorme estar aqui e ver mais uma UBS concluída. Uma unidade que ficou parada há anos e que agora está dando uma saúdo mais digna e mais acessível para a população da cidade. Essa foi mais uma de várias UBS que estamos concluindo em todo estado. Vale lembrar que a nossa gestão herdou de governos anteriores, um cemitério de obras inacabadas”, disse o governador Romeu Zema.
O prefeito de São Roque de Minas, Onésio Andrade, destacou a presença do governador pelo interior de Minas, olhando na ponta a realidade de todos os municípios.
“Essa obra ficou muitos anos parada e poluía visualmente nossa cidade, tinha focos de dengue e principalmente, não era possível cuidar das pessoas. Hoje, a UBS funciona da melhor maneira possível, atendendo nossa população”, disse. “Eu me sinto honrado de ter um chefe de Executivo que vai nas cidades para ouvir demandas e saber o que está sendo feito”, completou Andrade.
Investimentos
Para tornar a UBS uma realidade para o povo de São Roque de Minas, a “terra das cachoeiras” recebeu aporte do Governo de Minas no valor de R$ 1,7 milhão. Com o recurso, repassado por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Saúde de Minas Gerais (SES-MG), foi possível retomar os trabalhos em 2021 e entregar a unidade pronta em fevereiro de 2022.
Serviços
A Unidade Básica de Saúde da cidade oferece como serviços principais: consultas individuais e coletivas feitas por médicos, enfermeiros, dentistas e outros profissionais que compõem as equipes multiprofissionais (entre eles pediatras, ginecologistas, psicólogos, nutricionistas e assistentes sociais), procedimentos laboratoriais, vacinação, acolhimento e identificação de necessidade médica, entre outros exemplos.
