Funjope realiza aula de dança contemporânea para crianças do Jardim Veneza

A Fundação Cultural de João Pessoa (Funjope) está realizando uma série de atividades alusivas ao aniversário de três anos da Companhia Municipal de Dança de João Pessoa e também ao Dia Internacional da Dança, lembrado em 29 de abril. Nesta quarta-feira (8), a programação será no bairro Jardim Veneza, na ONG AC Social, com uma aula de dança contemporânea voltada para crianças e adolescentes, de 10 a 15 anos – que vivem na comunidade. A aula, que começa às 15h, será ministrada pelo bailarino Geovan Conceição.  

“Essa ação faz parte de uma série de atividades que a nossa Divisão de Dança está realizando para comemorarmos esse momento da dança, mas, sobretudo, o aniversário de três anos da nossa Companhia que criamos há três anos e que é um instrumento institucional de fortalecimento da dança em João Pessoa”, comenta o diretor executivo da Funjope, Marcus Alves.  

Ele acrescenta que a dança inclui variados estilos e linguagens, desde as danças populares, dança de rua, ballet clássico. “E nós estamos também trabalhando na perspectiva de inclusão social pela arte e pela cultura envolvendo a dança. Isso é muito importante para todos nós que fazemos a Funjope”, diz.  

Para Geovan Conceição, este é um momento muito valioso. “A verdade é que sempre deposito muita expectativa nesse tipo de ação, mesmo sabendo que tudo pode vir a ser diferente do que penso, pois compreendo sobre a questão das privações culturais que assola bairros mais periféricos. É por isso que buscamos essas parcerias com as associações das comunidades. Elas têm um papel ímpar no combate às desigualdades sociais e, claramente, esse é um assunto que me toca porque faz parte do meu propósito de vida”, comenta Geovan Conceição.  

Ele conta que será uma aula de dança contemporânea, mas também serão realizadas algumas atividades como dinâmicas e jogos. “São crianças que nunca tiveram contato com esse estilo de dança. Por isso, estamos pensando em abordar esse momento de uma forma um pouco diferente. Será um processo mais lúdico, mas sem deixar de oferecer uma dinâmica interessante. Precisamos enfatizar também na questão da inclusão, porque tem crianças com deficiência”, pontua.  

Geovan Conceição lembra que há algumas atividades programadas. No entanto, pode haver improvisos durante a aula. “Tudo vai se desenrolar a partir do nosso contato”, destaca.  

O bailarino frisa ainda que vai ministrar uma palestra antes da aula de dança. “Eu, que vim da periferia, fui convidado para dar uma palestra e conversar com os jovens do espaço contando um pouco da minha experiência”, acrescenta.

09/05 (quinta-feira) – Aula de danças urbanas, no Busto de Tamandaré – com Jack Keysy – às 17h30.  

10/05 (sexta-feira) – Teatro Paulo Pontes – Espaço Cultural

15h – Formação de plateia com as escolas da rede pública municipal

19h – comemoração ao aniversário de três anos da Companhia Municipal de Dança de João Pessoa – programação com vários estilos de dança e espetáculos apresentados nesses três anos.
