Obra “Educação e as Relações Étnico-Raciais no Brasil” será organizada por docentes do IFSP
A série Reflexões na Educação trata de boas práticas e experiências relacionadas ao tripé pesquisa-ensino-extensão da Rede Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia (RFECT). Apresentada na forma de uma coletânea de textos, os volumes temáticos estabelecem um diálogo entre os diferentes níveis e modalidades de ensino, conectando visões das ciências humanas, sociais e naturais com tecnologia e educação, com ênfase em reconhecer a diversidade de vozes dos vários atores sociais dos Institutos Federais.
Os organizadores dos volumes devem ser, no mínimo, um membro da RFECT, e os autores dos capítulos podem incluir servidores, alunos e/ou egressos da RFECT (sem restrição quanto a outras instituições, desde que pelo menos um dos autores seja da RFECT – servidores), seguindo as normas estabelecidas pelas chamadas públicas aprovadas pelos coordenadores da série e os modelos de capítulos e volumes. A partir de 2024, a série passou a ser coordenada pela Editora do Instituto Federal da Paraíba (IFPB).
A Editora IFPB abriu uma chamada para a submissão de propostas para o próximo volume da Série Reflexões na Educação, com o tema “Educação e as Relações Étnico-Raciais no Brasil”. A obra será organizada pela professora Elisangela Santos e pela professora Valquíria Pereira Tenório, ambas do IFSP e integrantes do Neabi.
Para a submissão de capítulo, o primeiro autor deve compor, obrigatoriamente, o quadro efetivo da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica (RFEPCT); enviar resumo expandido, de uma a três páginas, incluindo o nome dos autores e o título da proposta para compor o volume. O prazo para a submissão de capítulos vai até o dia 15 de abril. Os resumos devem ser enviados para o e-mail: .

A autoria dos capítulos pode ser individual ou coletiva. Inicialmente as submissões serão avaliadas pelas organizadoras da coletânea e, posteriormente, pelo Conselho Editorial da Editora IFPB. O volume será organizado no formato de ebook e poderá conter até 20 capítulos sobre a temática estabelecida.
