Nem mesmo o frio e a garoa, que marcaram presença em Brigadeiro Tobias, na noite deste sábado (23), conseguiram afastar o público, que lotou o gramado do Centro Esportivo “Joaquim Martins”, localizado na Avenida Bandeirantes, 3.963, onde foi encenado o espetáculo “A Paixão de Cristo”. É o terceiro ano consecutivo que a apresentação, gratuita, acontece no local.
Com direção geral de Alexandro Giovanni, presidente da Casa de España Sorocaba “Dom Felipe II”, e direção artística de Mario Pérsico, a peça contou com mais de 100 pessoas envolvidas em sua produção, levando cultura e emoção a pessoas de todas as idades, de crianças a idosos.
O evento é uma realização da Casa de España Sorocaba, com apoio da Prefeitura de Sorocaba, por meio da Secretaria de Cultura (Secult), e das Paróquias Nossa Senhora do Povo, de Brigadeiro Tobias, e São Francisco de Assis, da Vila Assis, além de contar com recursos de emenda parlamentar do vereador Fábio Simoa. A encenação já faz parte do calendário de eventos oficiais da cidade, por meio da Lei Municipal nº 8.222/2007, e, há três anos, passou a ser apresentada também em Brigadeiro Tobias.
Com cerca de três horas de duração, a apresentação leva ao público alguns dos momentos mais marcantes da vida de Jesus, como sua entrada triunfal em Jerusalém; a última Santa Ceia; o Lava-pés; a Traição de Judas; sua prisão e condenação, até a crucificação, morte e Ressurreição.
O público também participa, especialmente no momento da Via Crucis, em que Jesus segue escoltado pelos soldados e sendo flagelado até o monte em que é pregado à Cruz. Seguindo-se ao seu martírio e morte, a ressurreição é o ponto alto de toda a encenação, emocionando o público.
A realização do espetáculo e toda a parte da Via Crucis contaram, ainda, com o apoio da Secretaria de Mobilidade (Semob), da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) e da Polícia Militar (PM). O percurso teve início na Avenida Bandeirantes, passando pela Rua Mathias de Albuquerque, Rua Joaquim Roque de Oliveira e Rua São Judas Tadeu, encerrando na Rua Maria Francisca.
Parque dos Espanhóis, no dia 29 de março
A próxima apresentação será no dia 29 de março, às 19h, no Parque dos Espanhóis, localizado na Rua Campos Salles, na Vila Assis. Lá, o roteiro da Via Crucis terá o seguinte percurso: Rua João Francisco Neves, Rua Marquês de Itu, Rua Campos Salles, Rua Venezuela, Rua José Maria Moreira, Rua Mantiqueira, Rua Montevideo e Rua Guianas, encerrando no Morro do Garrido, no bairro Parada do Alto.
A classificação etária é livre e a organização do evento pede a todos que forem assistir e puderem contribuir a doação de um quilo de alimento não perecível, que será destinado à Paróquia São Francisco de Assis, da Vila Assis.
