O Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel (HMSI), que faz parte da rede hospitalar da Prefeitura de João Pessoa, recebeu, nesta quinta-feira (21), representantes do Ministério da Educação e Cultura (MEC) para avaliação de campo do estágio do curso de Enfermagem promovido na unidade hospitalar para estudantes de universidades parceiras.
Bruno Luciano Carneiro Alves de Oliveira e Rodrigo Leite Hipólito, enfermeiros e avaliadores do MEC, destacaram o trabalho realizado no hospital enquanto escola, com seu vasto campo de estágios. Em suas considerações, Bruno Luciano sugeriu a ampliação do estágio não somente na assistência técnica, mas que os estagiários também tivessem contato com gestão e administração.
O enfermeiro sugeriu também fortalecer a troca intelectual entre faculdade e o HMSI no sentido de oferta de cursos para funcionários do hospital, para melhorar a qualificação profissional dos colaboradores cada vez mais. Na visita desta quinta-feira, foi avaliado o estágio do curso de Enfermagem dos estudantes da Faculdade São Vicente de Paula (Fesvip).
Durante a visita, os representantes do Ministério da Educação foram recebidos no Santa Isabel por uma equipe composta pela nutricionista Paloma Egídio, coordenadora do Centro de Estudos (Ceapes); Margonia Palitot, enfermeira e coordenadora do Núcleo de Educação Permanente (NEP); Grazi Ferreira, coordenadora de enfermagem do Santa Isabel e preceptora dos alunos da Fesvip; além de Elzir Pontes de Miranda, Rosana Maria Vital de Miranda, Rodrigo Vital de Miranda e Júlia Dias Cardoso, representantes da Fesvip.
Hospital escola – O Santa Isabel é um hospital escola e recebe estagiários de diversos cursos, incluindo alunos de Medicina, de praticamente todas as instituições particulares de João Pessoa. Os estágios são supervisionados pelo MEC, através de vistorias realizadas como a que foi feita nesta quinta-feira. As vitorias são feitas a cada 4 anos e hoje o curso escolhido foi o de Enfermagem.
“O Hospital Municipal Santa Isabel promove desde cursos técnicos até o internato de Medicina. Entre os cursos superiores estão o de Farmácia, Biomedicina, Fisioterapia, Psicologia e Nutrição, entre outros, atendendo alunos que geralmente estão entre o sétimo e oitavo períodos e que precisam fazer a parte prática, que são os estágios curriculares. Nos cursos, eles são acompanhados por preceptores e funcionários do hospital, que acompanham a rotina dos estudantes durante o estágio”, explicou Paloma Egídio.
A pactuação dos estudantes é feita juntamente com a Gerência de Ensino de Saúde da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (SMS), que envia os estudantes para o Santa Isabel, onde os estágios são acompanhados pelo Centro de Estudos (Ceapes).
