Fecomércio-PB aponta crescimento na avaliação positiva dos turistas sobre limpeza pública

A Pesquisa Anual do Desempenho do Turismo na Região Metropolitana de João Pessoa, realizada pela Federação do Comércio dos Bens e Serviços da Paraíba (Fecomércio-PB), aponta crescimento na avaliação “ótima ou boa” dos turistas sobre a limpeza pública da Capital. O serviço, realizado pela Autarquia Especial Municipal de Limpeza Urbana (Emlur), alcançou índice de 85,32% este ano, com alta de 2,76 pontos percentuais (p.p.) sobre o ano passado (82,56%).

Em relação ao índice registrado no período de pré-pandemia (início do ano de 2020), a avaliação do serviço registrou alta de 6,95 p.p, quando o índice era de 78,37%. O serviço da Emlur é o segundo mais bem avaliado no levantamento, atrás apenas da sinalização urbana de João Pessoa (87,66%), na categoria de Infraestrutura. Em outras cidades da Região Metropolitana de João Pessoa, a limpeza pública registrou avaliação de 75,31%, neste ano.

O superintendente da Emlur, Ricardo Veloso, credita o reconhecimento dos visitantes ao trabalho diuturno desempenhado pelos agentes de limpeza urbana. “Durante o verão, período de realização da pesquisa, ampliamos os serviços de limpeza nas praias, com reforço na varrição, catação na areia e coleta de resíduos, em razão do aumento de pessoas na orla, e executamos mais uma edição do programa Amigos da Praia, orientando sobre o descarte adequado de resíduos”. 

Ricardo Veloso enfatiza que os serviços de limpeza urbana e manejo de resíduos sólidos são realizados em toda a cidade, não estando restrito aos bairros da orla. “Todos os tipos de coletas, a varrição e demais serviços de zeladoria, como a roçagem, capinação e pintura de meio-fio, são executados em toda extensão de João Pessoa. Além disso, disponibilizamos diversos tipos de coletores para o adequado descarte de resíduos. E recebemos essa resposta da população durante a abordagem de nossa equipe aos frequentadores das praias”. 

Estudo anual – O levantamento das informações ocorreu no período de 2 a 16 de janeiro deste ano e contou com a participação de 647 turistas. Em sua 18ª edição, a pesquisa indicou que a maior parte dos turistas é da própria região Nordeste (46,52% dos entrevistados). Em seguida, estão os visitantes oriundos do Sudeste (30,34%), Centro-Oeste (8,96%), Sul (7,26%) e Norte (4,02%). As praias foram o destaque da aprovação dos turistas, considerado como ponto positivo por 47,76% dos entrevistados. No grupo, o destaque foi para Cabo Branco (72,30%) e Tambaú (69,34%). 

Com relação ao perfil dos turistas, a maior parte dos respondentes é do sexo feminino (53,01%). O estudo indica outros dados: solteiros representam 47,76% dos entrevistados, 28,28% estão na faixa etária de 26 a 35 anos de idade, e 31,68% possuem renda de dois a quatro salários mínimos. O tempo médio de estadia deles foi de nove dias.
