A Prefeitura de João Pessoa segue alertando os pais e responsáveis para vacinação de crianças e adolescentes entre 10 e 14 anos contra a dengue. O imunizante contém vírus atenuado que induz resposta imunológica contra os quatro sorotipos do vírus. Até o dia 8 de março, 6.251 pessoas já receberam a primeira dose preventiva da vacina na Capital. Além da vacinação, o combate aos focos do mosquito Aedes Aegypti é fundamental e outro cuidado que continua sendo prioritário é o uso do repelente.
“A vacinação é importante e auxilia na proteção. Não podem ser imunizados com a vacina quem tem alergia a algum dos componentes, quem tem o sistema imunológico comprometido ou alguma condição imunossupressora, ou gestantes e lactantes”, orientou Fernando Virgolino, chefe da Seção de Imunização de João Pessoa. “As vacinas são seguras, comprovadas por meio de estudo e atestadas pela Anvisa. Da vacina da dengue, os estudos clínicos apontam que ela preveniu 80,2% dos casos sintomáticos causados por qualquer sorotipo após 12 meses da segunda dose e reduziu as hospitalizações em 90%”, completou.
Nesta segunda-feira (11), além da vacina contra a dengue, a população pode se imunizar contra a Covid-19 e atualizar a caderneta de vacinação nos três pontos extras localizados no Shopping Sul, no bairro dos Bancários, e no Home Center Ferreira Costa, às margens da BR-230, que funcionam de segunda a sexta-feira, das 12h às 21h, e no Shopping Tambiá, com assistência das 12h às 20h.
Já nas salas de vacinas, as ações preventivas e de promoção à saúde acontecem nos seguintes serviços: nas unidades de saúde da família, que funcionam das 7h às 11h e das 12h às 16h, no Centro Municipal de Imunização e nas policlínicas municipais, que atendem no período das 8h às 16h.
Todos os imunizantes disponíveis das campanhas ativas (Covid-19 ou dengue) podem ser administrados simultaneamente com qualquer outro que faz parte do calendário de rotina, em qualquer intervalo de tempo, na faixa etária de seis meses de idade ou mais.
Vacinação Domiciliar – Para pessoas acamadas e restritas ao leito, é necessário fazer agendamento, por meio do número (83) 98645-7727. As vacinas são disponibilizadas nos domicílios, de segunda a sexta-feira, no horário das 8h às 16h.
