Fenig entrega prêmios da terceira edição do Prêmio Destaque Iguaçuano
A Prefeitura de Nova Iguaçu, por meio da Fundação Educacional e Cultural de Nova Iguaçu (Fenig), realizou, na noite desta quinta-feira (29) a entrega do Prêmio Destaque Iguaçuano às personalidades e ações que fizeram a diferença em 2023. Os 28 premiados em nove categorias foram escolhidos em votação popular pela internet. O evento, realizado no Teatro Sylvio Monteiro, no Centro, está em sua terceira edição e contou com o apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura.
Os destaques foram escolhidos nas categorias meio ambiente, comunicação social, redes e parcerias, empreendedorismo, cultura, educação, esporte, apresentações artísticas e responsabilidade social. Os três mais votados de cada categoria receberam troféus. Na categoria educação, quatro concorrentes foram premiados.
“Em três edições, foram premiadas 79 personalidades e instituições que mostraram ações que causaram impacto positivo na vida das pessoas e na vida de Nova Iguaçu. As categorias contemplam segmentos sociais, culturais, educacionais, ambientais, esportivos e econômicos. Eu destaco o caráter transformador que os premiados e os concorrentes assumiram na construção de uma sociedade melhor”, disse o presidente da Fenig, Miguel Ribeiro.
A cerimônia também prestou uma homenagem póstuma ao ator e produtor cultural Fábio Mateus, fundador e coordenador geral da Escola de Cinema Encontrarte Audiovisual. A viúva de Fábio, a jornalista Bernadete Travassos, recebeu o troféu Laranja da Terra pelas contribuições que ele prestou à cultura da Baixada Fluminense.
