Mulheres com deficiência e suas cuidadoras se reuniram na manhã desta quinta-feira (21), em Campo Grande, para participar do 1º Encontro das Mulheres com Deficiência do Mato Grosso do Sul, realizado pela SEC (Secretaria de Estado da Cidadania), por meio das Subsecretarias de Estado de Políticas Públicas para Pessoas com Deficiência e de Políticas Públicas para Mulheres, em parceria com a Defensoria Pública Estadual.
O evento fez parte das ações da campanha do mês de março do Governo do Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, Mulheres em Foco: Todas Diferentes, Todas Importantes. E foi realizado de forma híbrida, presencial e também com participação online através da Escola Superior da Defensoria Pública.
Durante a abertura, Telma Nantes de Matos, Subsecretária de Estado de Políticas Públicas para Pessoas com Deficiência, ressaltou a importância desse momento de diálogo para as mulheres, com foco nas pautas que impactam diretamente a vida das pessoas com deficiência no Estado.
“Hoje no Dia Internacional da Síndrome de Down, Mato Grosso viveu um momento histórico, com o primeiro encontro das mulheres com deficiência. Um encontro com pautas muito importantes, significativas e emblemáticas postas sobre a mesa para discussão. Um encontro que vai transformar vidas e vai transformar a realidade do estado, dando visibilidade para essas mulheres”, finaliza.
A iniciativa ofereceu um espaço de escuta e troca, em que as mulheres participantes se sentiram confortáveis para partilhar experiências pessoais, tanto relacionadas ao tema da violência, saúde, educação, entre outros.
“Sabemos que o desafio é grande quando falamos sobre as pessoas com deficiência, mas já avançamos muito. Desde que me envolvi com a pauta e comecei a entender o significado da palavra acessibilidade e da garantia dos direitos das pessoas com deficiência, eu me comprometi com vocês, em aprender cada vez mais, em defender a causa de vocês. O grande desafio hoje é sensibilizar a sociedade. Porque quando você passa a saber, você se compromete com o diferente”, ressaltou Mônica Riedel, primeira dama do Estado.

“Nada sobre nós, sem nós” é um lema muito utilizado entre as pessoas com deficiência, que emergiu com maior força durante o processo de construção da Convenção sobre os Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência.
E com base nessa premissa, o Governo do Estado vem construindo políticas públicas eficientes, escutando aqueles que sabem o que é melhor para si e para a sua comunidade.
Representando as mulheres com deficiência visual do Estado, Astrogilda Maria José, reforçou a importância do 1º Encontro das Mulheres com Deficiência. “Esse momento nos permite adquirir mais conhecimento sobre nossos direitos e assim nos tornar multiplicadoras, para que sejamos porta vozes dessas informações, dos locais de serviços, de orientações. Além de possibilitar essa troca de experiências e de desafios”, finaliza.
Já Elisa Paulino, que na ocasião representou as mulheres surdas, compartilhou com os participantes uma situação pela qual passou, sendo mulher surda durante atendimento na saúde. Deixando a reflexão do que podemos fazer de concreto para que todas as pessoas com deficiência possam acessar os serviços e ter seus direitos garantidos.
“Quis compartilhar meu relato para que possamos avançar, e eu agradeço muito a Deus pela minha saúde e gostaria também de dizer que hoje é um dia importante para nós”.
“Eu sou muito agradecida por participar de um evento tão grandioso e tão produtivo que foi hoje o primeiro encontro de mulheres com deficiência do estado de Mato Grosso do Sul. Foi um divisor de águas porque estavam lá pessoas que precisavam ouvir as suas demandas, a primeira dama, a Defensoria Pública, a Polícia Civil e tantas outras pessoas que ouviram histórias que a gente passa, enquanto pessoas e mulheres com deficiência. E eu creio que irão surgir muitas coisas boas, muitas políticas públicas efetivas que vão sair do papel”, afirmou Mirela Ballatore, que representou as mulheres com deficiência física.

“Nós estamos trabalhando a inclusão, seguindo o nosso Governador Eduardo Riedel, quando cita ‘sem deixar ninguém para trás’. E nós começamos assim com o encontro ouvindo vocês, porque precisamos escutar vocês e entender a realidade de cada uma. E a partir daqui direcionar os nossos esforços para ações que cheguem a cada uma das mulheres com deficiência, das pessoas com deficiência e das que cuidam das pessoas com deficiência”, afirma a secretária da SEC, Viviane Luiza.
“Esse é um momento marcante, emocionante, é o início de uma luta diferente, de uma política pública voltada para nós mulheres com deficiência, abrindo leques para o empreendedorismo, pro mercado de trabalho, para saúde, educação e saber que. Nós vamos sair da invisibilidade, enfim um governo que olha com o olhar diferenciado para nós mulheres. E hoje eu tive vez e voz para falar o que a gente precisa.
