A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, por meio da Vigilância em Saúde, realizou a Sala de Situação Municipal contra Dengue no Grupo Fraternidade Irmãos Altinos , para apresentar a situação atual das arboviroses como: dengue, zika, chikungunya e febre amarela, no município.

O evento foi ministrado pelo médico veterinário da Vigilância Epidemiológica – Controle de Vetores, José Eduardo Barbosa Marques Júnior.

Os quadros epidemiológicos expostos, ressaltaram a incidência da dengue na cidade, tendo o pneu, ralo externo, prato pingadeira e vaso de plantas na água como os recipientes de maior prevalência para a proliferação do mosquito Aedes aegypti, vetor da Dengue.

É válido lembrar que todo cuidado é pouco, e uma simples atitude pode combater o mosquito Aedes aegypti.
