SEIG participa de apresentação sobre integridade na administração pública

O programa de integridade, governança e prevenção à corrupção da Prefeitura de João Pessoa – o Farol, da Secretaria Executiva de Integridade, Governança e Prevenção à Corrupção (SEIG), foi apresentado no webinar que aborda o tema da integridade administrativa pública no Brasil. O evento aconteceu na noite desta quarta-feira (28).  

Em sua apresentação, o secretário de Integridade, Governança e Prevenção à Corrupção de João Pessoa, Kleber Marques, destacou a iniciativa do prefeito Cícero Lucena de promover a integridade e a governança no município. “Cícero sempre apresentou essa postura de pioneirismo. Há 20 anos, quando não se falava em equilíbrio e preservação ambiental, ele já estava preocupado com a questão do lixão do Roger e transformou João Pessoa a partir daí, criando o aterro sanitário da Região Metropolitana. Do mesmo jeito, ele tem se empenhado em promover a ética, a integridade e a governança no âmbito da administração pública. Assim como ele teve a ideia pioneira de criar um aterro sanitário, ele teve de criar uma secretaria de Integridade para o município”, afirmou.  

O evento teve a intermediação do diretor de relações institucionais do Instituto Brasileiro de Direito e Ética Empresarial (IBDEE), Guilherme Corona, e contou com as participações do controlador geral do Estado de Rondônia, José Abrantes Alves de Aquino, e da representante da Secretaria Municipal de Transformação Digital e Integridade Pública do Município do Rio de Janeiro, Joana Almeida.   

Farol – Durante o webinar, o secretário falou sobre o início do trabalho na SEIG em João Pessoa. “Quando começamos, não tinha absolutamente nada. Tivemos o apoio da alta gestão e quando fizemos nossa primeira pesquisa de maturidade, o resultado nos mostrou que o município era muito imaturo com relação à integridade, governança e prevenção à corrupção. Desde o início, formamos uma parceria com a Rede Governança Brasil (RGB), uma parceria de mentoria técnica, e a partir disso, elaboramos nosso próprio programa de Integridade, Governança e Prevenção à Corrupção – o Farol. Então, criamos um programa de capacitação continuada com os servidores e estamos mudando a cultura de integridade do município”, destacou.
