Operação ‘Munditia’ investiga contratos de mais de R$ 200 milhões de órgãos públicos
A Operação Munditia apura o envolvimento de integrantes da facção Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) na disputa de licitações públicas de prefeituras do estado de São Paulo. Os contratos investigados passam de R$ 200 milhões.
Nesta terça-feira (16), cerca de 200 policiais militares apoiaram o Grupo de Atuação Especial de Combate ao Crime Organizado (Gaeco) no cumprimento de 42 mandados de busca e apreensão, além de 15 de prisão temporária. As ordens foram expedidas pela Justiça de Guarulhos. Estão sob investigação contratos nas cidades de Guarulhos, São Paulo, Ferraz de Vasconcelos, Cubatão, Arujá, Santa Isabel, Poá, Jaguariúna, Guarujá, Sorocaba, Buri e Itatiba, entre outras.
Conforme o balanço, 13 pessoas foram presas. Entre elas, três vereadores e um advogado, além de ocupantes de cargos públicos. Os policiais estiveram em 11 prédios públicos, 21 conjuntos residenciais e dez comerciais e recolheram quatro armas, de calibres 380, .40, 38 e 9 milímetros, mais de 200 munições, 22 celulares e notebooks. Também encontraram dinheiro: R$ 3,5 milhões em cheques, R$ 600 mil em espécie e quase US$ 9 mil.
Investigações
A investigação apontou que a estrutura criminosa simulava concorrência pública com empresas parceiras ou de um mesmo grupo econômico. Também há indicativos da corrupção sistemática de agentes públicos e políticos e diversos outros delitos – como fraudes documentais e lavagem de dinheiro. As empresas investigadas atuavam de forma recorrente a frustrar a competição de contratações de mão-de-obra terceirizada no estado, diversas prefeituras e câmaras.
A denominação, “Muditia”, alude ao grupo econômico investigado e aos principais contratos de mão-de-obra terceirizada voltados à limpeza.
