Festival de Artes de Nova Iguaçu tem primeira noite de apresentações
Evento terá duas peças teatrais encenadas neste domingo (7), na Praça CEU do bairro Jardim Paraíso
Começou a segunda edição do Festival de Artes de Nova Iguaçu. A abertura do evento foi realizada na noite da última quarta-feira (3), no Complexo Cultural Mário Marques, no Centro de Nova Iguaçu. Pelos próximos dois meses, 65 atrações artísticas irão se apresentar gratuitamente em diversos pontos do município. A programação semanal pode ser vista em https://www.novaiguacu.rj.gov.br/fenig/festivaldeartes/. O Festival de Artes é promovido pela Prefeitura, por meio da Fundação Educacional e Cultural de Nova Iguaçu (FENIG), e conta com o apoio da Secretaria Municipal de Cultura (SEMCULT).
O primeiro dia do festival contou com uma exposição de artes plásticas do artista Kevin Reis, além do maracatu Baque da Mata, sarau literário com Drielle Moura, cancioneiro com o Abadá Capoeira, Acrobacias Surpreendentes e Narrativa Encantadora com o Circo Chrisan e música com Beto Rocha que alegraram o público presente no Teatro Sylvio Monteiro, localizado no Complexo Cultural. Nos meses de abril e maio outras atrações do Festival de Artes irão se apresentar em diversos pontos da cidade.
“A descentralização é uma das marcas do Festival de Artes. Levar os espetáculos para locais diversos de Nova Iguaçu. Em todos os bairros, nossa cidade é produtora e consumidora de música, teatro, artes visuais, literatura e cultura tradicional”, disse o presidente da FENIG, Miguel Ribeiro.
Neste domingo (7), duas peças teatrais estarão em cartaz no teatro Praça CEU do bairro Jardim Paraíso. Às 11h o público infantil irá se divertir com a peça “Contando e Recontando Contos”. O espetáculo mostra a história de uma Companhia de teatro que, ao buscar novas formas de atingir o público, recria os clássicos da Literatura Universal, passando desde Chapeuzinho Vermelho, Cinderela, Cachinhos Dourados a Três Porquinhos, mas dando um toque leve, cômico e com novas possibilidades. A peça é uma grande homenagem ao teatro em sua essência, em que o trabalho apurado do artista se faz necessário, numa troca de conhecimentos e vivências entre eles.
Já às 16h a peça “A Jornada do Herói” promete gerar uma forte identificação com o público presente. Após ser demitido de uma fábrica de carvão ao questionar a diminuição do seu tempo de almoço, que passa de dez para cinco minutos, José vai atrás do seu Fundo de Proteção e Garantia ao Trabalhador Desempregado, como única opção de sustento de sua família. Tal como os heróis de Homero, José enfrenta monstros e diversos outros perigos ressignificados nas dificuldades cotidianas de um homem negro, pobre, semianalfabeto e desempregado, marcando uma verdadeira epopeia urbana em que os percalços de um ônibus cheio, uma fila quilométrica e um gerente de banco esnobe, escancaram, na resistência e heroísmo de José.
A Praça CEU fica na Rua Arco-Íris, s/nº, no bairro Jardim Paraíso. A entrada para as duas peças teatrais é gratuita.
