O Governo de Minas, por meio da Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura, Mobilidade e Parcerias (Seinfra) e do Departamento de Estradas de Rodagem de Minas Gerais (DER-MG), inaugurou, nesta sexta-feira (5/4), as obras do trevo de acesso secundário ao município de Capitólio, no Sul de Minas.
“Essa obra vai ser muito importante para a mobilidade e segurança dos mineiros e dos turistas, além de alavancar economia da cidade. Esse trevo que reformamos dá acesso ao Lago de Furnas, o mar dos mineiros”, ressaltou o governador Romeu Zema, presente no evento de inauguração.
Ao todo, foram investidos R$ 9,3 milhões para a construção de uma rotatória alongada, próximo ao km 286 da rodovia MG-050. A intervenção faz parte do contrato de concessão com a empresa AB Nascentes.
Com tráfego de cerca de 6 mil veículos por dia, o novo trevo na rodovia vai contribuir para os deslocamentos dos moradores e também de turistas que visitam os pontos turísticos da região, entre eles a Serra da Canastra e a represa de Furnas, conhecida como o Mar de Minas.
“Só tenho que agradecer ao governador Romeu Zema por ter lembrado da nossa MG-050. Esse trevo era muito complicado, pois tinha muito risco de acidentes. Antigamente, as pessoas passavam direto e perdiam a entrada da cidade, entrando por uma estrada de terra”, explicou o prefeito Cristiano Gerardão.
Concessões
Minas Gerais foi o primeiro estado do país a colocar em prática uma Parceria Público-Privada (PPP) no setor de infraestrutura rodoviária. A concessão da MG-050/BR-265/BR-491 liga Juatuba, na Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte (RMBH), a São Sebastião do Paraíso, na divisa com São Paulo.
Apenas no período entre 2020 e 2023, foram concluídos 21 quilômetros de duplicações de pista na rodovia MG-050. Para efeito de comparação, nos 13 anos anteriores, apenas 34 quilômetros de duplicação haviam sido entregues.
