Em comemoração ao Dia Mundial do Rim, a Central de Regulação Municipal de João Pessoa está realizando o II Simpósio Paraibano de Nefrologia na Atenção Primária à Saúde. O evento acontece em dois dias, nesta sexta-feira (15) e na próxima (dia 22), no auditório do Centro de Tecnologia da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). A iniciativa é uma parceria entre a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, a Sociedade Brasileira de Nefrologia – Regional Paraíba – e a UFPB.
“Estamos comemorando neste 15 de março o Dia Mundial do Rim e essa iniciativa parte da ideia de multiplicar a conscientização sobre as doenças renais por meio da educação continuada de médicos de família e comunidades que atuam na atenção primária da nossa rede municipal. Na ocasião, apresentamos o Protocolo de Regulação à consulta em nefrologia, visando otimizar o acesso dos usuários com doenças renais no município de João Pessoa”, explicou Gabriela Azevedo, diretora da Central Municipal de Regulação.
No simpósio, estão sendo abordados casos clínicos de maneira interativa envolvendo as principais doenças renais e como investigá-las na atenção primária. O encontro tem uma carga horária de 10 horas, divididas entre os dias 15 e 22 de março, devendo distribuir também uma certificação para os participantes.
