Entre os dias 28/2 e 1/3, a Emater-MG promoveu um encontro técnico sobre queijos artesanais, em São João Evangelista, no Vale do Rio Doce. O evento é voltado para coordenadores regionais e técnicos da empresa, visando assegurar a melhoria do atendimento prestado aos agricultores familiares. A iniciativa faz parte de um contrato assinado entre a Emater-MG e o Instituto de Desenvolvimento do Norte e Nordeste de Minas Gerais (Idene).
Nos três dias do encontro, foram abordados temas relevantes para a produção de queijos artesanais, como as diferenças entre eles, boas práticas agropecuárias e de fabricação, registro sanitário das queijarias, organização dos produtores e comercialização. O evento teve, ainda, um dia de aula prática sobre como produzir queijo. Extensionistas das unidades regionais da Emater-MG em Capelinha, Diamantina e Guanhães participaram do encontro.
Parceria
O contrato firmado, em 2022, entre o Idene e a Emater-MG prevê ações voltadas para as áreas de fruticultura, apicultura, agricultura irrigada e queijo artesanal. Ao todo serão oito encontros técnicos, 100 capacitações para agricultores familiares e a elaboração de seis cartilhas. A iniciativa vai beneficiar 61 municípios do Norte de Minas e dos vales do Jequitinhonha, Mucuri e Rio Doce.
“O objetivo final do contrato é capacitar os agricultores familiares, com o intuito de promover a segurança alimentar e nutricional, gerando emprego e renda na área de atuação do Idene. Para aqueles que já atuam nas temáticas listadas, será uma oportunidade de atualização. Para outros, uma possibilidade de iniciar uma nova atividade econômica”, diz a gestora do contrato e coordenadora estadual de Metodologia e Extensão Rural da Emater-MG, Luciana Maria Rocha Teixeira.
Até o momento, a Emater-MG promoveu um seminário regional híbrido (virtual e presencial) para o lançamento do contrato e divulgação dos cursos de capacitação e demais ações. O seminário reuniu cerca de 700 pessoas entre agricultores familiares, representantes de instituições públicas, extensionistas da Emater-MG e técnicos do Idene.
A empresa mineira de assistência técnica também realizou três encontros técnicos sobre agricultura irrigada, fruticultura e queijos artesanais. Os eventos reuniram cerca de 40 coordenadores regionais e técnicos locais.
A Emater-MG produziu todas as cartilhas previstas pelo contrato, que serão distribuídas aos agricultores familiares que participarem dos cursos de capacitação. O material traz informações relevantes sobre boas práticas de produção agropecuária e de processamento na fabricação de queijos artesanais e apicultura, além de apresentar orientações técnicas sobre pomar doméstico e tecnologias para a agricultura irrigada.
A capacitação dos agricultores familiares terá início em junho de 2024. Os cursos serão ministrados pelos coordenadores regionais e técnicos locais que estão sendo qualificados nos encontros técnicos. “Em todos os cursos serão trabalhadas as melhores práticas, mais atuais e modernas, mas também simples e de fácil implementação pelo produtor”, afirma Luciana Rocha Teixeira. O contrato assinado entre o Idene e a Emater-MG vai até abril de 2025.
