O secretário adjunto de Justiça e Segurança Pública (Sejusp), coronel Edgard Estevo, apresentou, nesta segunda-feira (26/2), instalações da Associação de Proteção e Assistência aos Condenados (Apac) para uma comitiva do Acre. As autoridades desembarcaram em Minas Gerais para conhecer e absorver a metodologia que é aplicada em 47 unidades do Estado.
A comitiva foi composta pelo governador do Acre, Gladson Cameli; pela presidente do Tribunal de Justiça do Acre, desembargadora Regina Ferrari, e pelo corregedor-geral de Justiça do Estado do Acre, desembargador Samoel Evangelista. A agenda também foi acompanhada pelo diretor-geral do Departamento Penitenciário de Minas Gerais, Leonardo Badaró; pelo assessor-chefe do Depen-MG, Laércio Rocha; pelo supervisor do Grupo de Monitoramento e Fiscalização do Sistema Carcerário e das Medidas Socioeducativas de Minas Gerais, desembargador José Luiz de Moura Faleiros, e pela desembargadora Márcia Milanez.
“Este é um momento oportuno de aprendizado para a evolução do Sistema de Justiça e Segurança. Temos consciência e compromisso com a Segurança Pública e sabemos da necessidade de melhorar a cada dia para que a ressocialização se dê como deve. Essa visita é um fruto da nossa consciência e do trabalho conjunto”, disse Estevo, nas boas-vindas à comitiva.
O assessor-chefe do Depen-MG, Laércio Rocha, endossou a fala do secretário e disse que a visita de outros estados também é uma forma de valorização do trabalho que vem sendo feito. “Os desafios das políticas de custódia e de ressocialização são contínuos, e estamos sempre procurando melhorar. Com a visita de outras federações, nos orgulhamos ainda mais do nosso trabalho e confirmamos que estamos no caminho certo”, finalizou.
A primeira visita foi à Apac masculina de Betim, onde reeducandos cumprem regime aberto e semiaberto. Após a visita, a desembargadora Regina Ferrari afirmou estar encantada. “Saio com a impressão muito positiva. Estamos encantados em como a unidade é coordenada. Com disciplina, amor e zelo. Tudo isso por parte de todos. Nós levaremos essa experiência educadora e humanitária para nosso estado, com certeza”, enfatizou.
Em seguida, a comitiva seguiu para a Apac Feminina de Belo Horizonte. O governador do Acre, Gladson Cameli, participou de um momento junto às reeducandas, que contou com apresentação de histórias e poemas. Ele agradeceu a recepção e também aprovou o modelo aplicado nas unidades. “Estou aqui para conhecer tudo que está dando certo, pedir licença e levar para meu Estado. Se não juntarmos nossas forças, não conseguiremos muitas coisas. Vocês estão de parabéns. Saio impressionado e deixo um abraço do povo do Acre. Estamos de portas abertas para unir informações”, disse.
