Aqui, criando a consciência, justamente dos principais bairros que têm mais casos de dengue. Hoje, já estamos com mais de 600 casos, mas graças a Deus, sem internação. Com orientação, nós queremos evitar que esse número possa aumentar”, afirmou o prefeito na Unidade de Saúda da Família da Ilha do Bispo.
“Esse esforço de conscientização, cada um fazer a sua parte, a parceria com o Governo do Estado, vai nos proporcionar, sem dúvida nenhuma, a chance de manter essa situação sob controle. Vamos vacinar, com eficiência, com rapidez, toda vacina que for disponibilizada para a cidade de João Pessoa”, concluiu o gestor.

Ela ainda reforçou que a campanha está sendo intensificada nos bairros com maior incidência – Mangabeira, Ilha do Bispo, Colinas do Sul, Penha e o Timbó (Bancários).
“A gente teve reunião com a Secretaria do Estado para fazer esse combate ao mosquito da dengue, enquanto a nossa cidade ainda está com baixo índice. Hoje temos 690 casos na cidade, mediante a grande população, graças a Deus, ainda é considerado baixo. Então, resolveu se fazer esse Dia D, além de vacinar as crianças de 10 a 14 anos, que as mães precisam trazer. A gente também já está fazendo mais capacitação nos núcleos epidemiológicos de hospitais, tanto público quanto particular, assim como as UPAs. Hoje a gente não tem nenhum paciente interno na UPA, nem no hospital. Então, por isso, que a gente tem que correr para fazer essa mobilização e essa prevenção”, explicou.
