Em um investimento de R$ 13,8 milhões, o Governo de Mato Grosso do Sul entregou nesta quinta-feira (22) obras que trazem mais segurança, educação e conforto para a população de Miranda. Um dos destaques é a construção do quartel do Corpo de Bombeiros, importante estrutura de combate aos incêndios no Pantanal.
Outra é a reforma geral da Escola Estadual Carmelita Canale Rebuá, no valor de R$ 6.828.566,06, incluindo o investimento em mobiliário. A unidade foi readequada aos padrões de acessibilidade e recebeu intervenção em toda a área construída (três blocos com 4 salas cada).
O trabalho envolveu troca de pisos, parte elétrica e hidráulica, esquadrias, pintura geral, adequação das calçadas e reforma dos banheiros e cozinha, contando ainda com a entrega de aparelhos de ar-condicionado, mesas, gaveteiro, microcomputadores, conjunto refeitório, conjuntos escolares, roupeiro, freezer, bebedouro, armários, tabletes e chromebooks, avaliados em R$ 941.118,36.
“Fizemos essa reforma com muito carinho. Parece uma escola nova. Ajudem a mantê-la bem conservada”, pediu o governador Eduardo Riedel aos alunos, durante visita à unidade. A Escola Estadual Carmelita Canale Rebuá atende 200 alunos do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental ao 3º ano do Ensino Médio.
Além disso, a unidade tem duas turmas do curso profissionalizante Normal Médio, que funciona no período noturno, com 140 alunos matriculados. A escola passou a atender, neste ano, pela primeira vez, alunos de 4º e 5º ano do Ensino Fundamental.

Eduardo Riedel entregou ainda a ponte em concreto sobre o córrego Vilas Boas, a reforma geral e ampliação da agência de trânsito do Detran e a nova creche Ediles Moraes de Souza, uma obra municipal em parceria e com investimento do governo estadual.
O prefeito Fábio Florença ficou emocionado com o volume de investimentos e entregas. “Hoje é um dia especial. Eu só tenho a agradecer”, afirmou.
Bombeiros
Construído em terreno de 1,2 mil m², doado pela prefeitura, o quartel do Corpo de Bombeiros de Miranda foi erguido com recursos do município, no valor de R$ 739.460,26. A planta possui 355 m² de área, dotados de salas administrativas, de comunicação, recepção, arquivo, cozinha/refeitório, alojamentos, depósito de materiais e área de desinfeção de viaturas.
Para o atendimento de diversos tipos de ocorrência, junto com a inauguração da unidade operacional, o governo do Estado também entrega três viaturas que, somadas, representam investimentos de R$ 3.291.400 na segurança da população do município e entorno, sendo duas com tanque de água para combate a incêndios.

Na área da infraestrutura, o município foi contemplado com a entrega da ponte sobre o córrego Vilas Boas. Construída pelo Governo do Estado, na ligação entre os bairros Laranjeiras e Matadouro, a nova estrutura em concreto era uma reivindicação antiga dos moradores das duas localidades urbanas e também dos indígenas das aldeias Passarinho e Moreira que tem a via como um de seus acessos.
A ponte que havia no local era de madeira. O uso intenso danificava a estrutura, que várias vezes precisou ser interditada, causando transtorno aos usuários. Com 30 metros de cumprimento e largura de 10 metros, a nova ponte de concreto recebeu investimentos de R$ 1.860.905,08 do governo estadual.
Detran
A agência do Detran-MS (Departamento Estadual de Trânsito de Mato Grosso do Sul) de Miranda passou por reforma e ampliação e também foi entregue nesta quinta-feira (22) pelo governador Eduardo Riedel.
Com investimento próprio de R$ 633.894,46, a unidade recebeu nova climatização, troca de piso, otimização do layout do atendimento ao público, atualização da fachada, além de reparos gerais na cobertura do prédio e instalações elétricas.
Também foi realizada toda a adequação para garantia da acessibilidade conforme a legislação vigente. Outra melhoria implementada na agência foi no pátio de apreensão de veículos, com reforço no muro e troca dos portões de acesso para ampliar a segurança dos veículos recolhidos.
A unidade que possuía edificação de 114,80 m² agora conta com 215,62 m². A novidade é a construção do pátio para vistoria veicular.
A agência de Miranda realiza cerca de 5 mil atendimentos/ano. Miranda possui 11,7 mil veículos registrados junto ao Detran-MS e conforme o último censo do IBGE, conta com população de 25.536 habitantes.

Para concluir o projeto de construção de uma escola municipal de educação infantil – a Creche Ediles Moraes de Souza, que se arrastava há 10 anos – o Governo do Estado repassou ao município o montante de R$ 1,2 milhão, por meio de convênio firmado entre a Secretaria de Estado de Educação e a Prefeitura de Miranda.
O governador Eduardo Riedel fez ainda uma reunião com o prefeito e vereadores para discutir novos investimentos no município. “Nosso governo começou com a prioridade de dar continuidade aos investimentos. Agora, estou aqui para escutar as prioridades de vocês para fazermos ainda mais”, disse o governador.
Entre os pedidos, que estão sendo avaliados pela gestão estadual, estão obras de infraestrutura e ampliação da cesta de alimentos distribuída às comunidades indígenas.
