A Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de João Pessoa (SMS) disponibilizou mais de 300 profissionais para prestar assistência aos foliões durante o período de Carnaval. O esquema de atendimento especial teve início na abertura do Folia de Rua, no dia 1º de fevereiro, e seguiu até a apuração do Carnaval Tradição, nesta terça-feira (13). Nesse período, os profissionais do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e do Camarim da Saúde realizaram 310 atendimentos.
As equipes foram distribuídas em cinco frentes: Camarim da Saúde, com 169 profissionais; unidade de suporte avançado (USA) do Samu, 60; unidades de suporte básico (USB), 46; motolâncias, 24; e veículo de intervenção rápida (VIR), 11 profissionais.
No Camarim da Saúde, além dos atendimentos, as equipes realizaram testes rápidos para diagnóstico de infecções sexualmente transmissíveis. No local, as pessoas que receberam resposta positiva foram orientadas e encaminhadas aos serviços de referência. Também foram entregues preservativos masculino e feminino. “Foi uma ação muito benéfica para os foliões o Camarim da Saúde junto com o Samu. O Camarim ajudou muitas pessoas com atendimento de urgência e emergência”, avaliou a diretora de Atenção à Saúde de João Pessoa, Alline Grisi.
De acordo com dados da SMS, foram 81% de casos clínicos atendidos (250) e 19% de traumas (60). As equipes do atendimento rápido prestaram 276 atendimentos no local da ocorrência e em apenas 34 casos foi necessária a remoção para UPA Oceania (17); Hospital de Emergência e Trauma (9); UPA de Cruz das Armas (4), Unimed (3) e Ambulância do Coração (1).
A maior parte dos atendimentos (52) foi por hipertensão/hipotensão, intoxicação alcoólico-exógena (48) e mal estar/náusea/tontura (44). Entre os casos atendidos também tiveram trauma/ferimento (38), crise de ansiedade (35), cefaléia/enxaqueca (18), queda/luxação (9), dor (9), reação alérgica (8), exaustão (6), síncope (5), dispneia (5), agressão física (4), taquicardia (4), hipoglicemia/hiperglimecia (4), entre outros (21).
Os dados da Secretaria de Saúde apontam ainda que entre os pacientes atendidos, 29,7% tinham entre 18 e 25 anos de idade (92 casos); 19% entre 25 a 35 (59 casos); 19,7% entre 35 a 34 anos; 11% entre 45 a 55 anos (61 casos); 7% mais de 55 anos (23 casos) e 12,9% tinham menos de 18 anos (40 casos). Apenas um paciente não foi identificado (0,3%).
No dia do desfile do bloco ‘Virgens de Tambaú’, que arrastou cerca de 600 mil foliões, a SMS registrou 114 atendimentos, o maior número de ocorrência durante o período carnavalesco. Já nos demais dias do evento, o maior número de ocorrência chegou a 40 casos, que foi no dia do bloco Muriçocas de Miramar. Os demais registros ocorreram nos seguintes eventos, por ordem decrescente: Carnaval Tradição (36); Bloco Vumbora (33), Bloco dos Atletas (33), Cafuçu (29), abertura do Folia de Rua (18) e Muriçoquinhas (7).
Samu – O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) presta atendimentos de urgência ou emergência de natureza clínica, cirúrgica, traumática, obstétrica, pediátrica, psiquiátrica, entre outros. O Samu é acionado pelo número 192 e o atendimento é prestado 24 horas.
