O Carnaval de São José dos Campos foi, oficialmente, aberto na noite desta última quinta-feira (8). Cheios de entusiasmo e cor, os bonecões do Pirô Piraquara foram para as ruas centrais de São José arrastando uma multidão de foliões. O tradicional bloco carnavalesco, que completa 36 anos, atrai crianças, adultos e idosos numa grande festa popular, onde a alegria é a única exigência para a participação.
Neste sábado (10), os bonecões, acompanhados da ala das baianas e da Banda de Santana, retornam às ruas a partir das 9h. O local de concentração é a Travessa Chico Luiz, ao lado do Mercadão Municipal. Desta vez, o trajeto a ser percorrido são as ruas Sebastião Humel, Vilaça, avenida São José e Praça Afonso Pena, onde será a dispersão.
A dona de casa Ana Carla de Souza Pinto levou as duas filhas, Carolina e Sofia, de 10 e 7 anos, para a folia com os bonecões. “Essa é a segunda vez que participamos do Carnaval do Pirô. É alegre e as meninas gostam muito”, disse. Assim como elas, se divertiram também os meninos e meninas que dão vida aos bonecões. A “Cuca”, por exemplo, esbanjou energia até o final do percurso, correndo atrás da criançada e posando para as fotos para deixar registrado o Carnaval 2024.
O cortejo pelo centro da cidade foi criado para fortalecer as manifestações culturais de São José dos Campos, um momento onde as famílias podem aproveitar a alegria, as cores e a espontaneidade dos bonecos e de todos as demais alegorias que os acompanham, ao lado da equipe da Fundação Cultural, entonando o hino do Pirô Piraquara e anunciando o entrudo de Carnaval.
