Além disso, três dias antes do atropelamento, ele havia sido parado numa blitz com a mesma moto, recusando-se a fazer o teste do .
Segundo a Polícia Civil do Rio de Janeiro, o caso foi registrado na 16ª DP como lesão corporal na direção de veículo automotor, mas passou a ser investigado como homicídio culposo após a morte da vítima.
O atropelamento aconteceu por volta das 23h de sábado (30), na altura do Posto 3 da Barra da Tijuca. A vítima teve a perna amputada durante o acidente e foi encaminhado ao Hospital Municipal Lourenço Jorge, onde morreu.
