O Campeonato Chileno – HISTÓRIA
A Divisão Primeira do Chile, ou Campeonato Chileno de futebol é um dos maiores da América Latina. Também é a competição máxima do futebol chileno. Colo-Colo, Universidade do Chile, Universidad Católica, Cobreloa e Unión Española formam o seleto grupo de clubes que conquistaram mais de 4 campeonatos chilenos em suas disputas, que acontecem desde 1933. Audax, Magallanes e Everton ostentam 4 conquistas, mas apenas o Everton entre eles foi campeão no Século XXI.
O Campeonato de 2020 terminou já em 2021, com 762 gols marcados em 314 partidas. O Campeão foi a Universidad Católica (15º título) e o Vice-campeão Unión La Calera. Os times que foram qualificados para a Libertadores 2021: Universidad Católica (Chile 1), Unión La Calera (Chile 2), Universidad de Chile (Chile 3) , Unión Española (Chile 4). Entretanto, para a Copa Sul-Americana de 2021: Palestino (Chile 1) Deportes Antofagasta (Chile 2) Cobresal (Chile 3) Huachipato (Chile 4). A Universidad Católica defende seu tricampeonato, algo raro de acontecer na competição do país Sul-Americano.
O atual campeão de 2020 é A Universidad Católica, que se tornou o time a ser batido. Por outro lado, o La Calera foi o vice Campeão.
